About the Bravo TARAC®

Overview

The Bravo TARAC is a prism that optically adds elevation to any scope to exceed its native travel.  Two models are available:  Ultra-light and Magnetic.

Advantages

• Light-weight.
• Add 30 or 60 MRAD (100 or 200 MOA) to any riflescope with a single optic; saves weight.
• Stack prisms or flip¹ the magnetic to increase range.
• Detachable mount

¹ Inverting a 30 MRAD magnetic Bravo, paired with a 30 MRAD rail and scope, unlocks 0-90 MRAD (300 MOA) of adjustment:
+30 Rail – 30 Bravo (inverted) = 0 MRAD
+30 Rail = 30 MRAD
+30 Rail + 30 Bravo (upright) = 60 MRAD
* Run the scope to dial +30 more MRAD in each configuration

Disadvantages

• Susceptible to optical interference from a barrel or heat since the scope centerline remains constant.
• Limited to 60 MRAD (200 MOA) due to color separation from chromatic aberration.

*Upgrade to the Charlie TARAC® to increase the scope centerline, add more elevation, and eliminate chromatic aberration.

Attachment

+ Rail – Toolless Bobro quick-detach.  Optimized to mount directly in front of scopes on 1.5″ scope rings.  Works with scopes on canted rails up to 10 MRAD (40-MOA).
+ Scope – Attaches directly to the scope’s objective (not a sunshade).  Scope mounts are scope specific, requires 0.25″ (6 mm) clearance, and a digital level or Plumb Bob for initial setup.
